¡Hola! I am la Profesora West & I am a Spanish teacher in Nashville, Tennessee! I’ve been teaching for 5 years and I’ve used comprehensible input (CI), TPRS (teaching proficiency through reading & storytelling), identity work, literacy, & writing nearly every year I’ve spent in the classroom. Because I taught classes virtually and in person throughout the pandemic, I’ve also made more efforts to incorporate SEL (social emotional learning) & trauma-informed practices in my virtual classroom.
